People are also welcome to bring other foods that they want to throw on the grill. \nThis is a family-friendly event and there is a park and playground across the street for those with kids. Some things we can always use more of: \n\nFolding chairs\nCanopies\nDesserts\nSides/Chips/Dips\nBeer\nAdditional yard games and dominoes\nCoolers\n\nOur hosts have dogs and have requested no additional dogs be brought to the event. \nThis will also be Blue Bell Ice Cream pickup day! DESCRIPTION:The annual SoCal Aggies Beach Bonfire is back on Saturday\, August 17th! \n⠀\nWHAT TO BRING:\nThe club will be grilling up hamburgers/hotdogs\, but bringing drinks\, side dishes\, and desserts is much appreciated! Beach games\, footballs\, canopies\, chairs\, coolers\, etc. are always helpful too! Please note that California State Beaches do not allow alcohol or glass containers.\n⠀\nWHERE TO MEET:\nWe will be at the Newland Ramadas at Huntington State Beach on Saturday\, August 17th. This is the same location as last year! We will begin setting up around 11am and be there until after sunset.\n⠀\nWHERE TO PARK:\nOur contact at CA State Parks has said that parking lots ($20) have been filling up in the early afternoon\, so carpooling\, arriving early\, and/or Ubering from a nearby location are all encouraged!\n⠀\nIn past years we’ve had trouble accessing the lots from the south (no left turns) and from across the highway\, so I would suggest you take the Pacific Coast Highway from north of our location (heading south) as shown on the map below to more easily join the traffic pattern that is turning right into the parking lots. Please note: the Newland St entrance is closed. Use the Beach Blvd entrance and drive through the parking lot towards the Newland Picnic Area A. DESCRIPTION:The Annual SoCal Aggies Crawfish Boil is just around the corner!\n⠀\nDate: Saturday July 30th\nTime: 1pm-ish to evening\nLocation: Thomas’ house: 1010 N Raymond Avenue\, Pasadena CA 91103\nStreet parking is free\n⠀\nLast day to RSVP is July 22nd!\nCost will be $27 per person:\nBUY TICKETS NOW\n⠀\n⠀\nEach person will receive 2-3 pounds of crawfish\, shrimp\, sausage\, corn and potatoes. Drinks and ice cream will also be provided.\nPlease note: Since we are reaching the end of the season (and are relying on the supply chain in 2022!)\, we may have to substitute crawfish with shrimp if our suppliers are unable to fulfill the order.\n⠀\nFeel free to bring anything else you want— grills and charcoal will be provided for anyone that does not eat seafood and wants to bring something to grill.\n⠀ \nThis is a family-friendly event! A swimming pool will be available for use as well as yard games for kids to play.\n⠀ \nSome things we can always use more of:\n\nDesserts\nSides\nBeer\nAdditional yard games and dominoes\nCoolers\nCanopies\n\n⠀ \nIt is also Blue Bell Ice Cream pickup day! Blue Bell Ice Cream will be distributed to those who order it whether or not you stay for the boil. There are not multiple locations for pick up this year: Pickup will occur in Pasadena on this day only!\n⠀\nDeadline for Blue Bell orders is July 14th!!!\nORDER BLUE BELL NOW\n⠀\nWe look forward to seeing you there!
